Recruitment
Dear Potential New Member, Hi! My name is Mary-Ellen Morris and I have the honor of serving as Pi Beta Phi’s Vice President of Recruitment this year. I am so excited that you have taken the first step in becoming Panhellenic women! When I went through recruitment, I was searching for a chapter where I truly belong, a place where I felt seen, valued, and loved for exactly who I was. What I found in Pi Phi was so much more than I ever expected. Pi Phi became my home. It has become a place that pushed me to grow and surrounded me with women who lift each other up every single day. Within Pi Phi, I have found my most genuine friendships, women who celebrate my highs, and support me through challenges, and stand by me no matter what. It’s where I have found growth in my leadership, and a deeper understanding of what it means to live with kindness, integrity, and purpose.Recruitment was one of the most positive and meaningful experiences of my college experience. From the very first moment, I felt welcomed and accepted without pressure to be anyone other than myself. That authenticity is what makes Pi Phi so special. Recruitment is about finding a chapter where you feel at home, where you are encouraged to grow, and where you are loved in the current moment and in the women you are becoming. Pi Phi has given me a sisterhood that continues to inspire me every day and one that I will cherish far beyond my time at the University of Tennessee. Pi Phi Love and Mine, Mary-Ellen Morris, VPR
