ABOUT OUR CHAPTER

The Tennessee Gamma Chapter of Pi Beta Phi was founded in 1948 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. We are proud to represent Pi Beta Phi and are glad we can call Tennessee home! Pi Phi is an organization that consistently encourages us to be involved in our campus as well as the greater Knoxville community.

As members of Pi Beta Phi, we live by our values of Integrity, Lifelong Commitment, Honor and Respect, Personal and Intellectual Growth, Philanthropic Service to Others, and Sincere Friendship. These values have shaped our chapter into what it has become today: a group of strong, independent, and capable women.

A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT

My name is Isabella Gheesling, and I am honored to serve as the current Chapter President of the Tennessee Gamma chapter of Pi Beta Phi. Pi Phi is an organization of incredible women who are committed to our values of Integrity, Honor and Respect, Lifelong Commitment, Personal and Intellectual Growth, Philanthropic Service to Others, and Sincere Friendship. Each and every day, I have the privilege of seeing these values exemplified through our sisterhood. Whether it's volunteering in local schools through our philanthropic effort, Champions Are Readers, gathering at sisterhood events, cheering on the Volunteers, or simply studying together at the house, the spirit of sisterhood permeates every moment.

To me, being a Chapter President means not only serving the group of women I love but carrying the torch passed down by those who came before us, while also paving the way for future sisters. As Chapter President, I strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcomed, respected, valued for the person they are, and empowered.

I'm incredibly thankful for the amazing women I'm privileged to have by my side and collaborate with. I cherish the life-long friendships that I have created over my time at the University of Tennessee and in Pi Phi. I am truly honored to represent and stand beside the amazing, empowering women of Tennessee Gamma.

Pi Phi Love & Mine,

Isabella Gheesling
